you get the more difficult it is to change

you think that the older you get the more difficult it is to change

is nothing permanent except change, In my job I work with change everyday! I create changes and I have to teach changes, and I have to accept changes from other sources! The acceptance of change is difficult for some people, sometimes for the majority of the people I deal with on a particular change, I know from personal experience that age doesn't matter. Some to the most accepting of change, and the fastest learners are in their 60's and some of the most reticent to accept and learn are in their early twenties! I think one of the causes of resistance is an individuals ability to break habits, The longer someone has been doing something in a particular way! the harder it is to accept and learn a change. Some people are better at "changing horses" than others. Old or young,

After she passed 60 she: learned to play the guitar. learned Spanish. took art lessons and began painting for the first time in her life (and she was good, especially if you liked landscapes and flowers). was appointed to the board of a non-profit organization! became an administrator at the language school where she learned Spanish. I stop here because I don't remember any more. wholesale cheap nfl jerseys but I think she did other things,

I think the trick is not to think of yourself as old! and to keep learning every day.As for the young people! I don't know why there is so much resistance, It may be peer pressure. immaturity or fear, I suspect there may be some flaw in our educational system that encourages resistance,

I think some older people use being older as an excuse so they can avoid changing, They really could if they wanted to,

When I was younger I could be very intractable but now I have mellowed out and just roll with the flow. Sometimes I don't particularly like change but I am usually able to adapt to it and go on. In my days as a young man I could be the most stubborn person that you ever ran into and once I had dug my feet in there was no moving me. Now I will give my point of view and just walk away and whatever comes just comes, I am to a great extent set in my ways but I have survived a month of mass chaos here living like a hermit among the rubble and you know it hasn't been really bad at all. Don't tell my wife that though because I am trying to really work her www.pixelperfectfoto.com guilt about sleeping elsewhere during this construction for all that it is worth.
I do think it is more difficult to change because we are who we are because of all the years it took us to become this person, It wasn't overnight. it is a culmination of all that we've experienced and grown to know about life!

It's a great journey and I've loved most every minute of it,I once heard a Dr! explain to someone close to me that people don't change overnight, They don't just metamorphiasize into someone else overnight, They are who they are because of what they have experienced through life and I feel this is true.

If something has been working for you for decades! why change it? It is usually a young person telling an older person to change! and get with the times, Not changing is more from stubbornness than inability in my opinion, As we age, we do lose some ability to learn! but not that much, until the very end.

Most people do not like change because that means they have been doing it wrong all of this time! There is a better way, and they have been wasting their time and/or energy, That is a hard thing to admit! Or they have to learn something new. Learning takes effort! I enjoy learning cheap nfl jerseys wholesale new things! hence my perpetual schooling and degrees. but some people don't!

Once you convince someone it is time to change. they can do it no matter what the age, It is not inability that makes it difficult. it is pride or fear or uncomfort, Change is difficult,

I am different from the way I was last year, and in some respects even last week. I am in a constant state of growth. I am constantly evolving! I don't consider it change so much as I consider myself moving toward ever greater enlightenment. As I walk this Christian path which I have chosen, and as I permit God to instruct me through daily readings of His Holy Word, I just am changed, Though the daily process may sometimes look like tremendous effort on my part! it actually is not. What I do find difficult sometimes is daily obedience to God's call on my life; however. the older I get, the more I yearn to be obedient. and actually that feels better. I don't know if it feels easier! it just feels more "natural" if you will, though it's definitely a spiritual thing for me. I have found in the past! as I find today. that if I try to force my round self into a square hole, I will fail every time. It is composed by lzhwpixelper 2012-11-30 pixe ct.
